When you hire us, we’ll come to any location you’d like us to capture these special moments (usually your home). A video or photo shoot usually takes around 1-1.5 hours depending on the shoot. For new-borns, this time frame allows us to capture genuine moments and work on the baby’s schedule- because, let’s face it, they’re the one running the show!

What do You Capture?

Engagements, maternity, and new-borns. However our approach is more niche. Unlike most, we don’t necessarily stage shoots. We’ll help guide or work with you on your vision, but our goal is to capture the raw, organic beauty of the moment- think documentary or photojournalism. We want to preserve the details you’ll remember forever, so you can relive them again and again.

What equipment will be used?

We use a single, focal-length lens and camera to provide a cohesive look with a handheld feel that takes you right back to that moment in time. 

Do you use Flash Photography?

We do not use flash photography, but may use a constant light source in case it’s needed. Preferably we’ll shoot close by a window to get as much natural light as possible.

What if we can’t get our baby to stop crying during our new-born film?

We completely understand each moment is unpredictable. The 1-1.5hr time frame normally gives us enough to work with even if there are moments of tears. But if not, we will schedule a secondary shoot(for free) as we truly want this to be a special moment that you enjoy. Plus, we’ll hold onto the footage from the first shoot to integrate in the final film. 

Will you stage the setting?

We may gently suggest turning towards the camera, but since we aim to capture authenticity, we let the parents and baby simply exist in the moment of time. However, if you have ideas you’d like we’d love to help make them possible!
